This is my most all time favourite and I can't resist eating this..I loooove it..
Raw Mango -- Medium --1 no.
Jaggery -- 3/4 cup ( + r -- acc to taste )
Salt -- a pinch
For tempering :
Oil -- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds -- 1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies -- 2 nos.
Curry leaves -- 1 sprig
Wash and peel the skin of the mango and cut the flesh into big chunks or slices. Heat a kadai with a cup of water and let it boil. Add the mango chunks ,salt to the boiling water .Cover and cook until it becomes tender and it should get mashed when u press it. Crush /mash the mago chunks using the backside of the spatula. Now add the jaggery and mix it well. It will get soon after u add it. In a seperate add the oil and splutter the mustard seeds, Pinch the dry chillies into halves and add those along with curry leaves in the oil. Scald well. Add this seasoned mixture into the pachadi and mix well. Switch off and serve..
Some may add shredded coconut to the final product as it enhances the flavour ..I din't add it. If u want u may add some.
