Mushroom Pulav

I din't cook last day coz of my tiring black friday shopping but still having some shopping hangover.. To make it easier i made this pulav and it became a super hit . Sharing with u all the simplest recipe..





Ingredients :
Mushroom -- 8 oz
Green chillies -- 5 nos.
Coconut Mik -- 2 cups
Water -- 1 1/4 cups
Salt -- to taste
Raisins -- 2 tbsp
Cashews -- 3 tbsp
GG paste --- 1 tsp
Onion -- 1 no.
Ghee -- 1 tbsp
Oil -- 1 tbsp
Basmati Rice --  2 1/4 cups
Cardamom,Cinnamon,Cloves -- each 2 nos.
Cumin seeds -- 1 tsp






Method :
Slice the mushrooms ,onions and green chillies.Soak the basmati rice for 10 minutes exactly. In the mean time take a wide pan and add both the ghee and oil. Add the 3 C's when the oil is hot and fry. Then add the cumin seeds and green chillies. Followed by onions and ginger garlic paste. Saute them till the raw smell of gg paste disappears. Throw in the sliced mushroom and scald them evenly. Cook this mixture till the mushroom leaves moisture. This will take about  2 to 3 minutes. Fry the cashews and raisins sepearately until golden brown and keep it seperately. In a electric cooker or in a pressure cooker, pour the mushroom mixture and the fried cashews ,coconut milk and the water. Combine well. Cook this for 2 whistles if u use a pressure cooker . Cook until the modes switches to warm if it is an electric cooker.. Raita ,baigan bharta ,any veggie or NV curry goes awesome with this..
