This is from Meenakshi ammal's book. This powder makes ur job easier. . Am gonna give a small measurement u may increase for ur requirement.
Coriander seeds -- 2 tbsp
Dessicated coconut (kopparai thengai ) -- 1 tbsp
Bengal gram /Channa dal -- 1 tbsp
Dry red chillies -- 5 no.
Oil -- 1 tsp
In a small pan, dry roast the dessicated coconut first and keep aside. In the same add 1 tsp of oil and fry channa dal,red chillies,coriander seeds and cool it for few minutes. Mix everything in the mixie/blender and grind to a fine powder . Store it in the refigerator. This stays good for even a month..
