I saw this recipe from Raks kitchen and i immediately checked my pantry for the availability of ingredients. Most wonderful thing abt this recipe is ,it comprises of day today items we generally use.. Actually i's looking for a dish to send for the bookmarked event. This time i tried from Rak's kitchen.. It was damn good , though i made some alterations that suits my taste buds. This one is surely yummilicious and i'm sure everyone would agree when they have a bite.. My paneer would be big ,like chicken piece, cos of the fact that i made the paneer by myself and stored it as big chunk pieces.. so, i just used as it is..The texture of the dish might not be appealing as it does in Rak's but it does tastes heavenly as Her's..
Ingredients :
Paneer (cubed ) -- 1 cup
Onion (cubed )-- 1
Capsicum /Bell pepper (cubed ) --1
Green chilly -- slit open -- 2 nos.
Garlic -- julienne -- 2 pods
Pepper powder -- a dash
Salt -- to taste
Sirarcha sauce -- 1/2 tsp
Tomato sauce /ketchup -- 1 tbsp
Soy sauce -- 2 tsp
Lemon juice -- 1 tsp
Section 2 :
To Make Batter :
Maida/all purpose flour -- 2 tbsp
Corn flour -- 2 tbsp
Cooking soda -- a pinch
Salt -- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder -- 1/4 tsp
Soy sauce -- 1 tsp
Method :
Take a bowl and add all the ingredients given in the section 2 and mix it evenly. Add water little by little to make a paste which is equivalent to that of bajji batter. Now dip the paneer in this batter and deep fry it. Drain and keep aside. Next, take a wok or something which is very wide and add a little bit of oil. Add the garlic and saute ,keeping the flame in medium low. Noe throw in the onions, green chillies and the bell pepper and saute well. when these are half cooked, add the sirarcha sauce, tomato sauce, pepper powder and the soya sauce. Scald well. Now it's time to dump in the deep fried paneer pieces and let them marry . The masalas should blend in with the paneer. Stir them in between. Finally sprinkle the lemon juice and give it a good mix for a minute and switch off..
Note : I din't add Ajinomoto ,but if u like adding it u r welcome to do it..
