Onion Chutney

<p>Ingredients :</p>
<p>Onion - 1 large</p>
<p>Tomato - 1 medium</p>
<p>Red chilly - 2 to 3 nos.</p>
<p>Garlic - 1 pod</p>
<p>channa dal - 1 spoon</p>
<p>Mint leaves -- 3 to 5 leaves</p>
<p>Salt - as reqd</p>
<p>oil - 2 tsp</p>
<p>For tempering:</p>
<p>oil- 2 tsp</p>
<p>Mustard seeds : 1/2 tsp</p>
<p>Curry leaves - 1 sprig</p>
<p>Urad dal -1/2 tsp (optional)</p>
<p>Method :</p>
<p> Heat a small pan with 2 tsp of oil and fry the channa dal. Keep aside. next,dump in the redchillies,  tomato,onion,garlic and saute it for 5 minutes. Rest for another 5 more minutes. Grind everything together to a fine paste and atlast add the mint leaves and give it a whip. Transfer the contents to a bowl and do the tempering with the ingredients mentioned.</p>
